Department of Physical education Activities 2022-23

1.   Our College Rugby team achieve 2^nd place in GNDU Rugby Inter-College Championship held on 17^th – 19^th October 2022 at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.

2.     Our College Badminton team participated in GNDU Basketball Inter-College Championship held on 2^nd - 4^th November 2022 at Doaba College Jalandhar.

 

3.     Our college Basketball team participated in Punjab Khed Mela 2022 and got 2^nd position.

 

4.     Our College Basketball team achieve 2^nd place in GNDU Basketball Inter-College Championship held on 21^st- 23^rd November 2022 at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.

 

 

5.   Our College Athletic Team achieve Overall 3^rd place in GNDU 52^nd Athletic Meet held on 29^th November to 1^st December 2022 at Khalsa College, Amritsar.

6.    Our Collegiate student Kritika thakur participated in School State Badminton Tournament on 18-12-2022 to 23-12-2022 at Amritsar and got 1^st position.

 

7.     Our College Judo player participated in GNDU Judo Inter-College Championship and got 3^rd position held on 25^th December  2022 at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.

 

8.    Our college student Shiya participated in Women’s Judo Championship khelo India Tournament 2023 on 8^th March 2023 and got 1^st position.

9.    The department of Psychology in collaboration with Department of Physical Education organized a Meditation session on 10^th March 2023.

 

10.                Department of Physical education organized a Nation webinar on topic “The contribution of sports to enhance the gender equality and women’s empowerment” on 25^th April 2023.

1.  1.  Department of Physical Education of PCM SD College for women, Jalandhar  organized an Under Faculty Enrichment Programme on the topic “Stress Free Teaching” on 7^th August 2021.

2. The Department of Physical Education & Sports organized an online quiz on 29th August 2021 on the occasion of  National Sports Day.

9. Department of Physical Education and Sports of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar is organizing Badminton Matches to celebrate 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 2021-22.

10. Our College Hockey team got 1st Position in GNDU Hockey Inter-College Championship held on 28^th – 30^th November 2021 at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.

11.Our College Volleyball team participated in GNDU Volleyball Inter-College Championship held on 1^st – 4^th December, 2021 at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar.

2   2. The Department of Physical Education & Sports organized a National workshop on "Yogic Therapies During & Post Covid-19 Challenges on virtual mode on 18th June 2021
